The incident took place September 22 at around 9:30 a.m. when a lone suspect entered the First Citizens Bank at 1630 Montana Avenue, pointed a firearm at employees and demanded money, police said.

Officers responded for the investigation and after reviewing security camera footage released a public bulletin with photos of the suspect and getaway vehicle, Aklufi said.
"Using information gleaned from multiple sources, detectives from the SMPD were able to identify the suspect and obtain a warrant for her arrest," Aklufi said.
The suspect -- Yolanda Denise Caldwell, 51, of Los Angeles -- was taken into custody by SMPD detectives on Wednesday in Redondo Beach, according to police.
Caldwell was booked into the Santa Monica Jail for robbery.
