| Santa Monica “Buy Local” Expo Postponed | |

March 16, 2012 -- Santa Monica’s “Buy Local” Expo, scheduled for this Saturday has been postponed due to the storm scheduled to blow in that morning. Jennifer Taylor, the City’s Economic Development Administrator who helped organize the event, said that the Expo has been pushed back to March 31 so that Buy Local participants "can enjoy the fun under, hopefully, clearer and warmer skies.” The Expo, set to offer sidewalk sales, booths, live music and talks by local civic leaders about the Buy Local campaign, will still unroll as planned on the Third Street Promenade on the new date.
