Police Release Composite of Sexual Assault Suspect | |||
By Lookout Staff July 8, 2011 -- Santa Monica Police have released a composite of the suspect wanted in a sexual assault that took place last week.
"When the victim attempted to turn around, the suspect struck her and forced her to the ground," said Sgt. Richard Lewis, the police department spokesman. "He then proceeded to hold the victim down while he sexually assaulted her." After completing the assault, the suspect ran eastbound on Pearl Street, Lewis said. The initial investigation is ongoing and anyone with additional information is asked to contact Detective Brown at (310) 458-8960, Sergeant Jacob at (310) 458-8460 or the Santa Monica Police Department (24hours) at (310) 458-8495.
