L.A. Opera Talks Begin Saturday at the Santa Monica Public Library | |
By Lookout Staff January 28,2011 -- If you love opera or just want to learn more about it, here’s your chance! L.A. Opera Talk is back at the Santa Monica Public Library for its eleventh year. This six-part series begins this Saturday, January 29, at 3 p.m. with a presentation on lI Turco in Italia and will continue on one Saturday each month through June. Programs later in the series include a behind-the-scenes look at the L.A. Opera as well as a live concert. The 2011 series includes:
These programs are free and all ages are welcome. Space is limited and on a first come basis so plan to arrive early. The library is wheelchair accessible.
