June 04, 2010 -- The Wilshire/Montana Neighborhood Coalition (Wilmont) will hold its annual membership meeting on Saturday at 11 a.m. The meeting will be an opportunity for residents to meet their neighbors, learn about the issues that affect the area and to voice their concerns.

Among the special guests at the meeting will be the neighborhood resource officer and Paul Weinberg, Santa Monica’s emergency service coordinator on disaster preparedness.

The event will take place in the multipurpose room at the Main Library, located at 601 Santa Monica Blvd. Parking in the library structure will be validated. Live music, refreshments from Panera and door prizes will be available.

Wilmont represents the largest population of Santa Monica’s neighborhood organizations. It serves the area stretching from 21st Street to Ocean Avenue and from Wilshire Boulevard to Montana Avenue. For more information about Wilmont, go to www.wilmont.org
