<p><em>October 14</em> – Police are looking for three men who may have taken part in the beating death of Pico Neighborhood resident Preston Brumfield five months ago.</p> <p>With the assistance of witnesses, detectives released composite drawings of subjects who were seen in the area at the time of the beating and may be involved in the murder, police said. </p> <p>The three subjects – three man lying on the sidewalk. The victim was immediately transported to an area hospital and succumbed to his injuries on May 16. </p> <p>The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office declared the death a homicide. </p> <p>The incident took place on a block that is one of the most crime-prone areas in the city, having been the site of several gang-related shootings in the past five years.</p> <p>Police responding to a call for service found the subject lying unconscious on the sidewalk, said Sgt.
