Wounded in Saturday Shooting |

May 12 -- Police are looking for two suspects involved
in a shooting Saturday evening that left a teenager wounded.
The shooting took place shortly after 6 p.m. on the 2300 block of Cloverfield
Boulevard near the border of the Pico and Sunset Park neighborhoods, said Sgt.
Renaldi Thurston, the new Police Department spokesman.
Officers responding to reports of shots fired found two Hispanic juveniles
at the scene, Thurston said. One of the teens had received a non-life-threatening
gunshot wound.
Fire Department paramedics took the victim to a local hospital.
The first suspect is described as a male Hispanic between the ages
of 18 and 20, 5’ 6” tall and weighing 150 pounds, police
said. He possibly had a goatee and was wearing dark clothing and
a black hooded sweatshirt.
He was armed with a dark handgun, Thurston said.
The second suspect is described as a male Hispanic 17 to 20 years old, 5’5”
tall and weighing 160 pounds. He also was wearing dark clothing and a dark hooded
sweatshirt.
