Pedestrian Struck in Sunset Park

September 23 -- A pedestrian was listed in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle on Ocean Park Boulevard Thursday evening, police said.

The subject was crossing southbound across Ocean Park Boulevard in a marked crosswalk on 25th street at 6:19 p.m. when the northbound vehicle turned westbound onto Ocean Park Boulevard.

The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition, police said.

The driver was interviewed at the scene and released pending further investigation, police said.
