Man Shot Near Pier By Lookout Staff June 5 -- A 21-year-old Hispanic man from Los Angeles was shot near the Santa Monica Pier shortly after midnight Monday. The man, who was found wounded on the sand in the 1500 block of the beach, was transported to a local hospital, where he is listed in stable condition. The suspects are described as three Hispanic men in their twenties, police said. One suspect is described as 5’8 to 6’0 tall and weighing 170 to 220 pounds, police said. He has a shaved head and was wearing a white “T” shirt with a Clippers jersey. The suspect was armed with a dark handgun, said Lt. Frank Fabrega, the police department spokesman. The second suspect is also described as 5’8 to 6’0 tall and weighing 170 to 220 with a shaved head. He was wearing a white “T” shirt with a tan flannel jacket. The third suspect was only described as a male Hispanic with a shaved head and wearing a black shirt.
