Robbery Victim Shot on North Side

August 28 -- The victim of an armed robbery was shot in the head with a handgun near Ocean and Montana avenues early Wednesday morning, police said. The victim was transported to a local hospital were he is listed in critical condition.

The victim and suspect may be acquainted and the suspects are possibly homeless, said police, who responded to the scene at 1 a.m.

The first suspect is described as a white male in his twenties, 6' 1" and weighing 185 pounds. He has reddish blonde hair, a beard and mustache and was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

The second suspect also is described as a white male in his twenties. He is 5' 9" and weighs 120 pounds. He was wearing dark clothing and carrying a light gray or purple backpack.

The third suspect is described as a white male. No further description has been given.
