Lucky 21: Council Picks Final Signs

Following is a list of the 21 Meritorious Signs picked by the City Council Wednesday night and early Thursday morning. They will join another 93 nonconforming signs the City's Meritorious Sign Review Board deemed worthy of being preserved due to historic or aesthetic value. Approximately 1,000 signs that did not meet the criteria will have to come down because they do not conform to the city's 15-year-old sign ordinance. Enforcement is scheduled to begin April 11.
