The waters have parted: It took Santa Monica and Moses 40 years to get out of the deserts. We have achieved liberty!
With the demise of the Santa Monicans for Renters' Rights (SMRR) political machine -- which saw only one of its three candidates win on November 3 -- we usher in the hard won triumph of a new Council that serves the residents.
The days are over when political ideology dictated policies of social engineering, especially in housing.
We are no longer beholden to the one-sided deeply corrupt and biased political machine that had Santa Monica in handcuffs and shackles for 40 years. Congratulations!
We are proud once again to be residents of The Great City of Santa Monica. May God-bless America and keep our new council members safe, wise and brave.
