Keeping in Touch

In the letter from Tobias Wacker about The Village ("Elderly Out of Touch"), he states that, "It would be nice if the council would recognize that those voices represent only a small fraction of Santa Monica residents. Most of us don't have time to attend those meetings. . . . When will we stop catering to elderly residents and their out-of-touch with reality complaints. . . ."

If Google postings are accurate, Mr. Wacker was a student at the University of Michigan during the 2006-07 academic year. In June 2007, he signed a letter to L.A. Weekly as "Tobias Wacker, Los Angeles."

I'm not aware of Mr. Wacker serving on the Board of any Santa Monica neighborhood organization, so he's probably not receiving the dozens of emails we receive daily from residents.
