to take extra precautions, as a faltering economy could be spurring“distraction-style
burglaries.”

California and make off with a computer and electronic equipment.
The Hispanic couple may have staked out area homes posing asa maid service,
according to sources.
“We want to tell people not to open their doors and let strangers in,”
said Sgt. Renaldi Thurston, the Police department spokesman.
Thurston said residents should immediately contact police if they
are visited by a cable company employee whose service has not been
requested.
The two suspects in Wednesday’s incident are described as Hispanics in
their thirties wearing dark shirts and blue jeans.
The male suspect is 6 foot 3 inches and weighs 240 pounds. He has short, straight
dark hair and a goatee.
The female suspect is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall with a medium build
and dark, shoulder-length hair.

suspects who
