Woman Struck by Car on Wilshire

Jan. 4 -- A 60-year-old Studio City woman was hospitalized Thursday afternoon after a car struck her as she crossed Wilshire Boulevard at 25th Street, police said.

The vehicle, driven by a Los Angeles resident, was traveling westbound on the busy street when it hit the woman who was in a crosswalk.

The woman, who was in town for a doctor's appointment, suffered leg injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
